The Reading Rockets began with a simple vision in 1997: to put a basketball in the hands of young people and give them a chance to fly. Founded by the Johnson family, what started as a local team has grown into one of the UK’s most respected basketball institutions.

Over the last two decades, we’ve lifted National Cups, Playoff Trophies, and League Titles. But our biggest wins don't happen on the scoreboard. They happen in the schools where we coach, the academies where we mentor, and the community we serve.
